So we’ve been adding more blogs this year, 2022. As part of 52 weeks of blogging, we thought it would be a marvelous time to maybe update our first blog. Whew, maybe it is a good thing no one was clicking on the website let alone blog in 2020, as we changed website domains, and started this rebranding journey. Two years later, Worldwide Elopement Visuals, has yet to dive deep on to what caused the change. Then let’s update, correct, this!

what a change!
Seeing how we had pondered changing our name ever since we settled on B+B. As it was always supposed to be a placeholder until we thought of something better. Yet in 2019, it became more of a need than a want. Yet we held off until 2020 because we finally took a leap: to describe more succinctly who we are and what we want to create.
“Exploration gives us the sense that anything is possible. Exploration leads to knowledge and understanding and means that you make the world a better place as you explore. People have always tried to leave the world a better place for future generations.”
Traveling played a huge part in our own lover’s tale. Due to traveling being in our souls (and hearts) and we would love to expand across the globe. We want to capture the memories at the exact moments when they signify the preeminent. To leave this place in a circumstance, well connected and joyous. To share that pinpoint with the ones we care for and love. So naturally globe-trotting, wandering the land looking for all the found soulmates, just sounds like a path meant for us.
Are we treating all the lovers’ tales as pokemon?
Gotta capture them all?
As it is the main focus of our rebrand, to seek a more intimate affair with the couple we are capturing. Sharing the whispers of all the lovers’ tales, that siren us as cheesy Christmas romance movies do (every year)! Now it does not just need to be Elopements, it can be a destination: an anniversary photoshoot, couple photography, and even an engagement portrait session. All of which come with Video or what we call Cinematography. Anyone can just hit record, on a camera or drone, and say they include video. However, we take pride in being able to splice together all the bee bits to best retell your tale in artistic stills and moving frames of love. Even if it takes longer than average…
we all have seen horribly rushed cinemas,
we’re learning from the lessons.
So as we set our visuals with two cameras. One to capture a singular moment in time that expands upon the love shared between the frames. Then another for cinematography to relay that same love but with memories that can last forever. Both are considered Visual Art, a means to bring forth the memories and emotions of the viewer. Visual art is a fundamental component of the human experience reflecting the world and the time in which we live. Visual Art can help the masses understand history, culture, and lives. Applying visual art to a lover’s tale, we aim to help couples not just understand the path that led them to commemorate their love through the creation of art. But rather understand the culture it built amongst joining two lives, two souls.

Anyhow, let’s expand on this journey together.
So How did we get here? Where did we come from?
Consequently, it is time to turn the page and unfold the book, that holds the tale about Worldwide Elopement Visuals.
We took into consideration the need to be more descriptive, so let’s break it down now.
Since our placeholder domain was famofbandb and social handles and B+B. During that time, they stated who we were. Yet left out a substantial part of what we set out to accomplish and who we are trying to create artistic memories with. We set out to redefine ourselves. As to describe us in a way that just by reading our title you knew what we aspire to be 🐝. Taking this step came with many caveats and can be a stressful event for sure.
So sure, rebranding can be a scary word, just look at how facebook’s rebranding to meta went.
We rest our case.
To change everything you have been enumerating out to the world, can ultimately make or break your company as a whole. Buzzing from the old hive to another, making the decision after 3 years was having us contemplate, will this be worth it?
Looking back we believe in the moves we made, here’s the ultimate why.
Overall, it made us more authentic in serving you.
FamofBandB, had a more personal brand, less creative. Like it sounds like a vlog channel.
Cute, but not exactly, “HEY WE MAKE VISUAL ART!”
So Branding Matters, Naming Matters.
When you look at other companies sometimes their Titles don’t mean anything they are completely unrelated to what their product or who they want to connect with is. Look at Apple, for example, they are an electronics company, and yet they picked a name that unrelated to their subject. Yes, there are some perks to having a name that someone actually has to look up to figure out who or what they are about. But for us that’s not meaningful, that’s not trying to relate to your crowd immediately with full transparency. Whereas you read earlier we wanted to explain that we are a creative company.
In all of the changes, we did not just set ourselves outside of the expected norm with our art style through creative color-grading. Furthermore, we set ourselves apart by how we showed up on the internet and social sites. Just to, make sure that when it came to being discovered by you, and then serving you– there was no chance for confusion.
B+B to us felt like exactly that a corporate name, non-descript, unrelated, and full of questions right off the bat. As bees we want you, the client, the art we want to capture, to be able to connect with us and to find your way to our hive.
Don’t worry we found a way to pay homage to the Bees that got us here at Worldwide Elopement Visuals.
If you haven’t noticed, this site has a ton of bee 🐝 puns.
So there is an explanation.
So in short, Mr. and Mrs. Bee wanted to create a brand, outside of just the two of them.
Yet still loved the idea of busy, buzzing bee travels.
Our honeybees of clients.
And the bumblebees of behind the scenes.
That is how we remember where we came from, as well as where we are going.
So that is the buzz, over the beeswax of the bee puns.
Now back to making a hive, with Worldwide Elopement Visuals.

What brought us to this current brand of editing?
Where did we find inspiration?
What was the muse that helped us get to this end design? It’s been a journey for sure.
We can narrow down our editing style to three main staples Vintage, Artistry, and Creative. They are key in how we have created a style that doesn’t conform to the modern trends, to break out of the box that everyone gets compelled to be in. So without further ado, let’s boogie into the reasons we color grade the way we do.
Now we know when we say creative, it is read as DIFFERENT.
Yeah, so do we.
How else will we leave a memorable imprint of an impression?
From website design, to how we talk to each honeybee, and even how we show up on social media,
it is different with intent.
So with that being said, we hope as this hive grows, we can switch to visionary
instead of just “creative” for one branding descriptive word.
Our vintage and artistic editing style definitely contribute to the overall visuals of Worldwide Elopement Visuals but there is something to still say about our creativity. We make sure that we connect with you to know the best way to bring out the feelings/emotions so your time isn’t wasted. Then we lean on years of experience to bring in viewpoints, movement, and actions to bring the photo to life. As well as, we use that life to record it for you to remember evermore.
Vintage, from our choice to pull inspiration from 60’s film grade for black and white photos as well as cinematography. Lomachrome for our teal skies and rosy hues in the foreground keep reading for the artistry behind that color grade choice.
For our black in white films, we also pull from the pre-film area device called a Zoetrope, it’s a device that produces the illusion of motion by displaying a sequence of drawings or photographs showing progressive phases of that motion. A film is literally thousands of frames or pictures, if you will, to create a motion picture. So we asked ourselves why not create short films or as we put it Featurettes that reflect yet another vintage quality we are proud of.
As you can see the intent of this research is to create a brand that illuminates through a projection of what inspires us.
As well as what inspired us to take this leap, to be known for a visionary mindset.
Artistry is the quality of an effect, our color grade is that quality, it turns your memories into an art piece worthy of hanging on the wall to remember the moment over and over again. It reflects a time long past, a simpler time that we take and apply. We help bring the emotion of passion to the forefront of something you will remember forever. Taking natural ques and old techniques to a modern level of quality.

“From chasing sunsets and wanting to keep that rosy glow on the ground and skin from the final rays. Before blue hour brings in a teal shade into the sky. From the sun telling its lover, the moon, goodbye. Watching lovers communicate differently, yet the same. I have come to enjoy combining everything I have witnessed and have been inspired by. Painting photographs through a color grade inspired by vintage love of nature, and by modern lovers’ tales.
There is something so invigorating about embracing being an artist with a camera– and no longer just a photographer or chick with a camera. The honor comes from being able to make art from your love, a muse I combine with the muse of nature.”

I work with the film that I carefully capture, bringing it to life in living black and white.
My favorite moment during the time I’m immortalizing your cherished memories is hearing that fiances that had hated getting photos or video were taken before, flipped the coin, and loved it. It shows me that our work wasn’t done in vain with that comment. Anyone can take a quick snap or video with their phone but that’s only half of the experience, the artistry we provide takes it the rest of the way. I’m proud of that, I’m proud to be able to have the chance to give you that gift. Without the quality involved, there isn’t a reason to hang it on the wall and think back to that time. That moment will just get buried on your phone with thousands of other photos to only be brought to your attention when you take that time to look back and feel the moment once more.
Our quality with either color or black and white should be admired with you like art, taking that photo or video to a place of artistry.

So after three years of just being known as B+B, Ben and Becca, we got serious.
The Pandemic slow down with time, and it made us get real.
Stopped being worried about what would happen, and just go for it.
Sure has it been a tough uphill battle? 100%.
However, has it been worth it?

We’ve fine-tuned our style.
Then fine-tuned our vendor list.
So that there is no confusion when it comes to your trust in us
and who we suggest to work with.

Okay but serious note, this brand represents love.
Not the picture-perfect, sale-sy love that capitalism has turned into a well-oiled and profiting machine.
But real, messy, and extraordinarily incomparable love that can be described as art.
